Tucked away in a lesser known part of Tuscany, Villa Lestra, on the outskirts of the medieval village of Montelopio. It is idyllically located in an exceptionally beautiful, lush landscape, olive groves, vines, fields of wheat and sunflowers and woodlands.
Situated where the provinces of Pisa, Siena and Florence meet, Villa Lestra is just a short distance from the well preserved historical towns of San Gimignano and Volterra. the 2-floor villa is a traditional 1800 Tuscan farmhouse, which has been renovated with great care for modern comfort , yet with some original features being preserved such as the terracotta flooring, chestnut wooden beams and stone walls. Situated in the countryside, yet just 500 metres to the nearest restaurant and a few kilometres from more restaurants, a few shops, cafés, a bank, a post office, a chemist’s and a doctor’s.

To welcome our guests, we offer a free visit to a classical Tuscan Wine cellar with a free wine tasting and a free guided walking tour of Peccioli and Chianni villages (from May to September).
